  My experience at
  The Village
  Narellan Restaraunt for a family Birthday dinner.
  I made the booking on line no problem at all was able to change it to 8 people no problem at all.
  I was looking on the website and seen that they have a function menu. I rang and left a message to be called back about this, but never recieved a call back.
  On asking about it when we got there, I was told that because I had booked already and it hadn't been changed prior I couldn't change it now as it was to late.
  
  On arrival we were greeted and seated by a lovely young lady called Therese she was very welcoming.
  My daughter and husband went to the bar to order. My husband who is a massive garlic bread fan ordered 3 servings of garlic bread which he asked to come out first, my daughter who had everyone's order on her phone proceeded to order the eight meals.
  
  A young blonde lady brings bowls of tapas to the table, I started to ask her where the garlic bread was that we had ordered to be brought out first, before I could continue she interrupted with "its coming, I only have two hands" honestly who says that to a customer, I was politely asking and I was just enquiring on there order we wanted the meals. Four people heard her say this and were all shocked in the way she spoke to me.
  The meals came out ,my friend had ordered steak medium done with chips and vegetables and a side of halloumi and blue cheese sauce, what came out was rare steak and a bowl of steamed vegetables. My friend asked as to where the fries and a halloumi were and she pointed to a bowl on the table with the tapas and said that's the sauce there. A bowl of chips and a piece of halloumi was brought out and my friend questioned that that one small piece was a side of halloumi for $4 the young woman who I now believe to be a supervisor then curtly replied " it wasn't on the order so you didn't pay for it"
  Now back to the garlic bread one lot came out into the meal. We were asked if everything was right now and said the other two garlic breads had not come out,
  She came back with "they weren't in the order but we giving to give you them anyway" well they did at the end of everyone's meal.
  I found her behaviour and what she said rude and intolerable of someone in her position. I think this young lady's attitude to customers needs to be assessed.
  I liked the menu and the ambience, The rest of the food we ordered was lovely and enjoyed by all at the table.
  Hoping the unpalatable part of this experience never happens to anyone again.

  Thanks for your email. I am terribly sorry to hear about your experience, obviously this is not the kind of service we aim to provide our customers. I have passed this email onto our venue manager who will speak with the staff member involved.
